ON THE WAY...TOO!

Wednesday 18th.
Drove early to Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee. I had sufficient time, however there was a traffic accident at the Marquette interchange that slowed traffic. Apparently a car rear-ended a tanker truck and both went up in flames, fortunately nobody was hurt. By the time I got there traffic started moving faster so I made it to the airport on time.
But not everything should turn out fine. When I went to check my bag found out that the flight was delayed, so I can't make it to my connecting flight in Chicago. The United clerk suggested that I take the bus and should be there on time.
I am in the bus now, but we had to stop because one of the passengers had to get a ticket (?), maybe I won't make it in time now. But I can always take a selfie.

We are starting again, keeping my fingers crossed.
After a few more delays, arrived at O'Hare late for my flight, like I expected. Originally I had thought about driving  directly to Chicago but I then thought that it would more relaxing just a short drive to Milwaukee. I guess I learned my lesson.
I got booked on a flight to Denver with the next leg from Denver to Kalispell, arriving to the latter around 9pm! Too late.
But when I landed in Denver I found a flight to Kalispell that gave me about 30 minutes to the gate. I ran, and I ran, and I ran and was able to make it on time. So finally arrive at Kalispell around 4:40pm. Picked up the rental and drove an hour or so to the hotel where we are staying.
The hotel is the famous Izaak Walton Inn right on the heart of Essex, Montana, population of 671 as of the 2010 Census. It doesn't look like its population has increased significantly since that time.
